Healing Practices: Tuning into Nature’s Language

October 18, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

(note: this workshop is part of the 2019 SHiFT Festival)

There is a universal language that all living things share on planet earth – a language we all used to understand. We call this “Bird Language” – as birds are the key to learning this language. Bird Language includes sounds and movements that not only birds, but all wildlife (like squirrels & foxes) understand because it serves as an early warning system to ensure peace and safety. Bird Language is also useful in our human relationships – as it helps us detect and resolve energies such as tension, conflict and misunderstanding.

In this workshop we will share core routines for tuning into Bird Language (including some unforgettable stories), practice observing & interpreting wildlife communication and give participants take-home tools for deepening their connections to nature. Come join Atiya Wells & Dan Gardoqui for a fun, engaging afternoon outdoors!
