“One of the best gifts I’ve given myself and others is time spent with Dan cultivating a deeper understanding of how Mother Nature heals, inspires, and teaches us to be more conscious, awake human beings. His knowledge and passion for the wild world makes every adventure a life-changing experience. Spend a day with Dan and you’ll fall in love with birds, animals, tracking, and trees, as well as the rhythms of life, the practice of presence, and the joy of becoming a wise leader.”
Wonders of Trees: Meet & Appreciate the Arboreal World w/ Dan Gardoqui
Sunday, December 4th, 2022 – 10am-12pm – York Land Trust (York, ME)
It’s easy to take trees for granted. But turns out that they are much more complicated and important than most of us might think. Come spend a late morning outdoors re-meeting, learning about, and finding deep gratitude for our tall, sun-loving, woody neighbors.
Expert naturalist Dan Gardoqui will lead a curated tour of the most common and most amazing trees in our backyards. Learn how trees talk to each other, how they nourish our nervous system and how they’re embedded into the fabric of our lives in the Northeast.
Sponsored and hosted by The York Land Trust.
