Northwoods Tracking & Trailing Weekend may be like nothing else you’ve ever done.

Follow the snowy trails of wild animals like Canada lynx, moose, fisher and marten through wild, diverse habitats while blending teaching with a full immersion of your senses in nature.  Located in the rugged Western Maine Mountains and the Moose River Valley, you’ll explore snow-covered landscapes, learning about the lives of northern wildlife and the remarkable habitats that sustain them.

Please note that this price covers your custom guiding fee. You are responsible for your own lodging, food and transport to & from the Jackman area.

Important: This program can sometimes requires moderate physical effort. We’re often on snowshoes, off trails for multiple hours each day in potentially deep snow and hilly terrain. While your guide will be happy to break trail and do his best to adapt the pace and course of travel to meet the needs of the group, this adventure requires that you have moderate physical conditioning. You will also need to have winter-specific gear to participate.
